Question about vectorizer source inputs

I imagine this is something you guys have either thought about or have on a to do list f or a future update but I didn't see it in a quick search thr ough  old forum p osts s o I figured I'd bring it up:

 

Right now, the source input options for the vectorizer engine are: current layer; source image & selection.  Any plans to enable the vectorizer to user other layers as source inputs?

    Sure. We should probably generalize all of the various 'Source' inputs for the different operation modes. Like we did with the standard compositing options that used to be available in image operation only but are now available everywhere.  I'll put that on the future feature suggestion list.

Is anybody making a copy of all the material in the Tutorials Forum

Since the Forum is going away in June, has anyone started to make a copy of all the stuff in the Tutorials forum?I've made copies of some of the tutorial material on the main site, but haven't looked at the Tutorial Forum yet.I'm going to continue copying as much as I can for my own personal use anyway, but if anyone else is doing it, or has already started doing it, please let me know.Maybe we can co-ordinate our efforts. ps can't ..... believe John, would let this happen without so much as a…
